The nom de plume of Melbourne-based multi-instrumentalist Dylan Young, Way Dynamic’s third record features sparse arrangements and radiant subtleties in songcraft that are a little bit Chris Cohen, a little Nilsson/McCartney. With highlights like “Ibiza” and the effortlessly melodic “Miffed It”, it’s unsurprising that the timeless quality of Massive Shoe has already garnered appreciation across generational musicians.
