Being based on the West coast, far from any reasonable live opportunities, this debut release from Athens GA's Venice Is Sinking seemed a long time coming, but well worth the wait. Until now, my appreciation for the group was based solely on two (excellent) tracks alone. Striking a chord somewhere between modern indie-rock and the independent music scene of the late '80s (read: Galaxie 500 comparisons), Venice Is Sinking float through . . .
