In our infancy, An Aquarium Drunkard hosted a semi-regular feature entitled “The Cover Wars” in which a (typically) obscure cover was paired with it’s origin and you the reader would decide the verdict on which one you preferred. One of my favorite’s in this series was Pavement’s cover of the Echo & The Bunnymen new-wave classic “The Killing Moon.” Tonight the moon is full — or at least close enough to revisit this tune.

Pavement’s cover of “The Killing Moon” was originally available on the Major Leagues EP, now long out print except digitally (try eMusic).

One Response to “The Killing Moon :: Cover Wars”

  1. Digesting with regards to a impressive product and service that is available at this sort of high price frustrates me sometimes. In fact I am unable to easily afford plenty of those high end items on the market. Even so I take pleasure in dreaming about it and whenever feasible I enjoy the little pleasures of life. If you belong to men and women who may easily afford high-priced products simply go for it. I suppose life is about having a good time, what else?
