Last year Filter magazine had a light bulb of an idea getting native Kentucky songwriters/actors Dwight Yoakam and Will Oldham to interview one another. Upon seeing the artwork for the feature I knew I had to scan it for you good folks to see with your own eyes. Awesome, no? Being a huge fan of both, this joint interview, entitled ‘Kings At Night” was a real treat. Unfortunately I do not see an online version to link to, but if you know of one, leave a URL in the comments.
Elsewhere: Oldham fan? If so, do not miss out on the Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy show that Big-O is hosting right now. Recorded April 12, 2006 at Queen’s Hall, Edinburgh, Scotland a radio program aired this except from the show. The Bonnie Prince is backed by the Harem Scarem band. See details here.
