  1. damn………….really anything involving muscle shoals has to rock. I recorded a record once with a guy who had done some stuff there and I really wanted to kiss him on the mouth.

Thanks for all of what you throw up…but especially this

  2. This is probably my favorite blues song. KSHE (a pioneer FM radio station in the late ’60s and ’70s) in St. Louis used to play this every Saturday night at midnight. It became a St. Louis tradition for those of who were teenagers to listen for it. I love Duane’s dueling guitar exchanges with Larry Knechtel’s organ. What a classic. I never get tired of listening to Loan Me a Dime.

  3. HIS MUSIC IS OVER 35 YEARS OLD AND ITS STILL WAY BETTER THAN ANYTHING I’VE HEARD IN THE MEANTIME. HE CAN COME ON SOOOO STRONG AND NOT LOSE HIS WAY!
ITS A CRYIN’ SHAME THAT HE DIED SO YOUNG. THE GREATEST GUITAR PLAYER EVER?
    IMO, WITHOUT QUESTION!

  4. Love this picture. Read a article about a band called The Cold Stares recording down there on july 4th in the new revamped studio. From what I hear they have redone the place back to original. Lots of excitement about this particular project being of southern nature. D. Allman casts a wide shadow for future generations.
