  1. Loved the sultry little French run this morning!

  2. you look rad in that photo.

  3. Something for the next show – Donny Hathaway. While it’s not his live 1972 album, I have been enjoying a compilation of selected tracks from Hathaway’s early 70s live performances. Hathaway was one of the most soulful singers to have existed.

I have been especially impressed by the tracklists from the last 5-10 or so (they’re all phenomenal) Aquarium Drunkard Shows. Where else (besides your iPod or on a mixtape) can you hear Deerhunter, Grizzly Bear, Serge, Arthur Russell, and The Velvet Underground within an hour of each other, with massive quantities of impressive selections between?

  4. we’re musical brethren. i couldn’t look forward to your show any more than i do each week. more than any of the other blogradio shows, you play what you feel. its incredibly thoughtful and i just wanted to let you know that it doesnt go unappreciated. thank you from the bottom of my rock n roll soul
