  1. there are so so so many favorites, but i’ll pick “Shoot the Singer” cuz that’s the one that got me started . . .

  2. It has to be “Cut Your Hair” from Crooked Rain Crooked Rain, it’s even better live.

  3. Oh god, I’d say ‘cut your hair’ just because I have some really good memories associated with that song…

  4. Starlings of the Slipstream… ah oooh

comment’s not song related, but SM related…

Bought tix for a show he and the Jicks were playing at the El Rey way in advance a few years back. Grabbed my date, pre-drinks and all that.. cab to the show.. and oops the show was on tuesday not thurs!@# eff. Did the same thing for Supergrass a year or so later.. dip sh!t

  5. Fillmore Jive from Crooked Rain Crooked Rain. “I need to sleep” (perfect soundtrack for browsing the web at 1:41am).

  6. its between FALSE SCORPION and that ballad, stone temple pilots there elegant bathcheors, there foxy to me are they foxy to you

  7. “Box Elder” – live – off of “Slanted & Enchanted: Luxe & Reduxe”
It’s important that it’s live because I didn’t really appreciate the song until I heard this version…
