Neil Young :: A Few Honey Slides

It’s some kind of gold rush. The Neil Young Archives floodgates have well and truly opened in the last few years — the hits just keep on coming, whether it’s physical releases or random drops on Neil’s bizarro website. The man’s unreleased material is astonishingly high-quality; even though we’ve been gifted all kinds of previously unheard material lately, there’s still plenty more good stuff lurking in the vaults. This hour of Radio Free Aquarium Drunkard features a sampling of that good stuff: live cuts, b-sides, demos, outtakes, rarities and beyond, stretching from 1969 to 2020. There’s even a dance mix thrown in there for all the Cinnamon Girls out there. Fry up a few honey slides and enjoy. | t wilcox
