In hour one: Dave Schools of Widespread Panic joins us for an hour of Less Talk, More Groove, as the celebrated bassist spins roots funk, dub, out there jazz, and more. In hour two, Jason P. Woodbury‘s Range and Basin, featuring meditative and celebratory sounds, including new selections from Body Meπa, Marisa Anderson and William Tyler, Anika, and Wadada Leo Smith and Milford Graves. In hour three, Tyler Wilcox’s Doom and Gloom from the Tomb explores an hour’s worth of Bob Dylan’s “One Too Many Mornings” variations, including live versions, studio outtakes, and collaborations with The Band, George Harrison, and Johnny Cash. To close out, the Woodsist Family Radio Hour. Founded by Jeremy Earl of Woods and Painted Shrines, the label has been a stalwart of independent music since 2006. Featuring funk, experimental pop, and tropicália, as selected by Woodsist artists.
