Radio Free Aquarium Drunkard :: May 2022

Radio Free Aquarium Drunkard returns on May 15, from 4-8 PM Pacific. Four hours of freeform sounds from the Aquarium Drunkard crew. Up first, New Happy Gathering with Chad DePasquale, a wooly hour of languid blues, fourth world Americana, Zambian rock, West African highlife, and manic Tropicália. Then, Range and Basin with Jason P. Woodbury, exploring electro, folk pop, cosmic country and more. Next is Doom and Gloom from the Tomb with Tyler Wilcox, offering a deep dive into the Feelies multiverse, with various rarities, side projects, related bands, etc, spanning the late 70s to the present day. To close, a spotlight on Atençao!: Novos Sons do Brasil, Aquarium Drunkard and ORG Music’s compilation collecting sounds of contemporary Brazil, produced by AD founder Justin Gage. With the vinyl currently sold out, we hope you enjoy this deep listen.
