Under the guise of a sincere and admirable anti-algorithmic sentiment, the album carries a sense of optimism and youthful wonder in its experimentation. Incorporating the likes of steel drums, pedal steel guitar and loops courtesy of harpist Mary Lattimore, the album is chock-full of stirring textures and samples that reveal like audio subtext.
