Holter’s voice skitters over pulsing tone washes and reverberating thumps, more light-heartedly than you’d expect from the classically trained, experimentally adventurous composer. A fretless bass is a main character here and elsewhere, tracing blooping arcs through dance-adjacent rhythmic architectures . . .
