Much of my time spent with the silver screen this past year has been with documentary films. This is both due to the fact my wife has been working closely with documentary filmmakers here in Los Angeles, and more importantly, there have been some outstanding/groundbreaking works in the documentary film world of late.
This being so, news of director Michael Tully's new ducumentary chronicling Dave Berman's Silver Jews is the best joos news since catching them . . .
