Another pic of '70s era BossOn Friday I got a copy of the Tortoise & Bonnie "Prince" Billy collaboration that came out earlier this year. The late gram ParsonsPrior to his stint with The Byrds and The Flying Burrito Brothers a young Gram Parsons formed The International Submarine Band shortly after dropping out of Harvard. One of my favorite country singers, Parsons, even at a young age, was able to convey an honesty and truth to his music that only increased with subsequent albums. These tracks, plus an additional one, can be found on the excellent compilation entitled become a member or log in.
